IT'S ALL ABOUT ASPARAGUS....

Asparagus season has arrived and we are absolutely thrilled! It's an all-time favourite vegetable that can be enjoyed in so many ways. 

It adds a bit of 'umph' to any dish, whether it's served with eggs at brunch, steamed, or roasted to be enjoyed with dinner. The best part about asparagus (apart from the taste), is that it is so simple to prepare. Look for tight buds and a firm stalk.

At the beginning of May, Naomi hung out with Bobby Kerr from Newstalk to fill him and his listeners in on all that is going on at Naomi's Kitchen. Ireland's very own Dragon kindly popped down to have a chat, a wander and to get a feel for what's involved with our new business venture, and boy were we happy to show it off! It’s that time of year when wild garlic is growing in plentiful abundance. Naomi's mum Florence pops down regularly with bunches for us to use randomly in the kitchen. The flowers beautifully adorned our recent Easter Lunch boxes and we also pot it up so our customers can enjoy it drizzled over......
